- With a recent Linux Openswan, you will require the latest (12/2002) Netgear firmware, which supports Diffie-Hellman (DH) group 2. For security reasons, we phased out DH 1 after Linux Openswan 1.5.
- This message reports the incompatibility between Linux Openswan 1.6+ and Netgear fvs318 without the firmware upgrade.
- We believe Linux Openswan 1.5 and earlier will interoperate with any ~NetGear firmware.
