Interoperating: Equinux VPN tracker (for Mac OS X)

equinux VPN Tracker is a commercial product that provides VPN client functionality with a graphical interface for configuration. equinux also have a product called VPN Tracker Server.

These could just be interfaces to the native Mac OS X IPsec, which is essentially KAME.

equinux provide a 17 page PDF, How-to: Interoperability with Linux FreeS/WAN, which describes how VPN Tracker can be used to establish an IPSec connection between a Macintosh running Mac OS X and a Linux box running FreeS/WAN. (PSK, RSA, X.509)

To use Appletalk over IPsec tunnels, run it over TCP/IP, or use Open Door Networks' Shareway IP tool, described here.
